Do you think of yourself as a leader? As I learned (again) in my coach training program at the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching,

"Leadership is how you interact with everyone, including yourself. EVERYONE is a leader either by choice or default. If you don’t think of yourself as a leader, then you are limited in your thinking. Leading is the way we help move people into action, including ourselves."

The leaders I speak with often feel alone and overwhelmed. They are looking for information, partners and emotional support. In coaching, I work with people, individually and in groups, who want to develop or strengthen their super-powers as leaders--of others and of themselves.

The questions we ask ourselves and each other are informed by the assumptions we hold. We even hold assumptions about ourselves. In fact, those assumptions are frequently what hold us back from asking ourselves important questions, and hearing the important answers to those questions. If we can shift the assumptions we hold and the questions we ask, we can shift from a society of scarcity to one of abundance. That means more of what you want in your life--time, freedom, people, whatever it is that YOU WANT!

I also love working with people who are passionate about creating community in doing their work. In collaboration, we articulate ideas and a vision for work and life, and design processes that bring out the best in everyone. By maintaining curiosity and flexibility while building skills, confidence and tools, the experience is rewarding and powerful. By changing the questions embedded in the daily work of individuals, everyone naturally brings out the best in each other and in our world.

Thank you for helping me achieve my dream of contributing to a resilient community of leaders. I look forward to collaborating with you!
